Kevin King Beau Men Homoerotic Gay Illustration “Writer’s Block” Art Painting
Rare original painting by Kevin King (American, b1959, aka Beau), circa 1995. King hails from California with a background in art and working in television and film doing costume design. Discovered by an editor, his erotic works have been published in Freshmen, Advocate Men and Torso magazines. Our understanding is that a car accident in 2002 caused injuries that prevent King from painting and that he’s now doing photography.
Fine erotic illustration called “Writer’s Block” featuring a handsome and hunky author contemplating some deep thoughts: Tony, Kevin (self portrait of the artiste?) or Teddy? Hmmmmm. Skillfully painted with certain talent, this piece is either oil or acrylic on a heavy watercolor paper (various online sources cite both mediums). Done for Advocate Men magazine, issue not known, uncertain if this was for a feature article or used as a spot illustration. A genuine rarity.
