Original, vintage silver gelatin photograph by Israeli born, award winning photographer Michael Ackerman (1967-).

The image offered here is titled "The West Side Highway Piers" (1995 NYC) which features a pretty typical view of activity on the piers with dozens of people lounging, tanning, socializing or getting some head. This well represents the last gasp of the original, unrenovated piers which were often times only accessible by getting through the chain link fences that barricaded them. The print is titled, signed and dated to the reverse, lower left and lower right.

The image is printed full frame on doubleweight 14"x 11" paper, archivally hinge mounted and matted. The print itself is in excellent condition with some minor/negligible right edge wear. The mat has some small, scattered spotting along the top edge.
